This is Bled, Slovenia. A lake at the foot of the Alps, an island in the middle of the lake, a church on the island, and a castle on the cliff above it all. Not a postcard — it actually looks like this. Last year, UN Tourism named it one of the "Best Tourism Villages" in the world. More than 270 villages from 65 countries applied, and Bled made the cut. Officially certified beautiful. But here's the thing. The UN judges have never seen your neighborhood. That alley where the sunset lands on your walk home. The hill behind your town on a foggy morning. That riverside path that becomes perfect for exactly one week when the cherry trees bloom. The judges don't know about any of it — nobody filed an application. So let's run the vote here instead. If your neighborhood has a moment more beautiful than Bled, hit "Clapback" on this post. One photo is enough. Likes decide the winner, and the winning neighborhood gets a permanent record on the map. The UN can't pick your town. We can. 📷 Photos: Fábio Rocha, Pham Ngoc Anh & others / Pexels (Source: UN Tourism "Best Tourism Villages 2025")
